Thanks for the response C5vzla! I recently talked to someone who has taken boats from Tucupita to Pedernales... I believe on the Cano Manamo. He said it took about 2.5 hrs and cost under $10...hopefully this is still the case. He also told me that the posadas are usually filled up with oil workers, so it can be tough to get a room sometimes.... is this your experience? Thanks, Andrew
