mi rolo will be here in three days!!!

i know i've posted in the past wondering about visas and all that jazz - and its been a while since i've written but since then i've been to bogota 3 times for extended periods and even ventured over to cartagena and playa blanca (amazing btw)....so now mi rolo will be here so so soon - he'll be here on a J1 and then we're just going to see how it goes - his family would like to visit soon - any advice on getting their tourist visas approved??? ...

just back from bogota!

so i just got back from bogota - met the parents, they were incredibly nice to me - loved bogota, the food, the people, the city, all the pueblitos, everything - my boyfriend and i have offically decided that we want to do this..get married, live together, all that.... but now that i'm doing so much research i'm getting discouraged - according to visajourney.com the average time for a fiance visa to be approved is 200 days! we can't wait that long to be together...does anyone have any advice as ...

Hotels in Bogota?

I'm headed to Bogota real soon, two weeks - yippee! and i'd like to surprise my boyfriend by taking him to romantic hotel for a couple of nights, does anyone have any suggestions for somewhere nice, and not to expensive?? and if its possible to make reservations online? Thanks & all the best! ...

Whats in style in Bogota?

So I'm headed to Bogota for new years to see my colombian boyfriend and i'll be there for about two weeks. i'm a little nervous about something very silly, but i figure maybe some of you can help - what should i wear??? i know colombian women are considered incredibly beautiful - i basicly am worried that i'm going to stick out - how does a typical 25 year old dress in bogota??? i'm assuming that flip-flops are not appropriate - any advice?? please i need all the help i can get.... ...
