Reception locale Well we had our wedding earlier this year at Pueblo Viejo out near Cota.
Wonderful place set on the grounds of this country club - trouble is you need a members help to 'make things happen'. Still could be worth looking into.

Brits 'on the loose' in Bogota Interesting thought, I am a Kiwi married to a Colombiana myself, and who knows we may consider living there in the future aswell. But I have recently come across an 'old friends' website of old school mates etc etc, but it also lets you know where other Kiwis are in this big wide world - and for me it turns out there are 26 known Kiwis living there currently..... So it will be interesting trying to make contact with them and find out how they are doing there - working etc etc....
I'm sure there must be loads from the UK living there - just difficult tracking them down I know. Good luck!

Andres carne Yes indeed that place certainly does rock. I've been there twice now on my last two visits to Colombia, and in actual fact my wife and I took our hardcore guests out there after our wedding to party into the small hours just 3 weeks ago. Friends were just intrigued with the jumbled chaos of architecture meets interior decoration. Ahh it's great.
You should visit this place at least once in your life, along with the Taj Mahal.... Great wall of China.... you get the idea
