What do I do? One day in Bogota I just posted this in Spanish, but after searching more through the site i realize there seem to be more speaking eng. So, I am posing this plea for a second time. My name is Jasmine and I am 22 years old and I will not be passing off as a local.
I have a long layover in Bogota and I want to make the most of it. It's from 830pm until 10pm the following day. I speak spanish just about fluently, i'll be on my way to a job in Argentina, actually.

So are there any hotels in particular that I should look into? I am looking for safety, first, secondly, a free airport shuttle (an impossibility outside of the US for the most part, i realize), and then LOCATION. I want to be able to get around to the main attractions from the hotel. Maybe even go out that first night to observe the nightlife. The next day i'll have the whole day to sight see, and I would love to know what the best attractions are.
So, any advice would be appreciated, along with warnings, and all that good stuff. I am pretty adventursome and have always wanted to see Colombia, but this window of time is so difficult...
