nice to see most of you saw my point. Its not really the 50 mil thats the issue.Its like rocinante said, the run around, the lies., all because some girl thought she could get over on me. And like Monita Linda, normally I won't do business with anyone if they treat me like this, its just that bodytech las vegas is the only gym in which I don't need a bus or tazi to get too. I know one thing, I am about the only person who actually returns the weights to where they belong after I finish with them. 99% just leave theyr'e stuff on the floor for someone to pick up as if their maid is there. Maybe I'm pathetic or overly spiteful, but I am now gonna be the sloppiest client thay have. For those who think bodytech has the best equipment, they don't.Before yes, Not now.. They bought all new stuff about 3 months ago, by a company called Life Shitness. About The new equipment, it sure is perty to look at, but its usless. All the cable machines are overly complicated with the cable/cables running through a series of 6-8 pullys. .whenever the direct resistence is altered it takes away from the stress on the muscle. It basically feels like your using a bowflex. The ab equipment is also very, awkward and cheap feeling. Obviously the suits who chose to purchase all this new stuff never worked out in a gym. The smith machine is good, as are the treadmills and other cardio equipment. Ok enough bitching about bodytech, I only wish there was another gym closer to mi casa.

Allright yummy, another guy that knows everything. I wanted to join again because its the only gym near my home. But you know so much, so I guess your right I tried to use their coupon just so I can complain here on pbh. So now I'm called cheap? Cool, your just awesome too. And wtf does it matter if this ever happened in the states or not? It is what it is and I'm not surprised.

well the equipment is new, its very pretty but its realy not good quality.Most of its uncomfortable and ineffective. they had good equipment by a company called precision but i guess they have so much money that they bought all new stuff. Butits the only gym near my home. I see ujay has his cyberballs on. Calling me stupid over the internet? Wow you sure are cool my anger was over the fact that they wouldn't honor their coupon and obviously were making up reasons not to. I wasn't going out of my way for anything, just trying to by a membership and use the coupon that they offered. If you think that makes me a stupid gringo, well thats just awsome!

Give my dentist a call. Sergio Posada Trujillo at 234-3764. He is Medellin and has studied in the US. He also can speak a little English. I had $2800.00 US worth of dental work that my lousy insurance wouldn't cover for $620.00 US by him and I am very satisfied. My last visit was a cleaning where he charged me $12.50 US. Less than my co-pay. Wow, so 25 mil for a cleaning, think I'll check him out.

Man Tequilla has certianly been there. You seem to know the Bodytech in Medellin very well.
Yes bodytech is 80 mil por mes but you need to be there before 4 pm otherwise you cant get in. The full membership is 160 mil I believe.
Down calle 10 a bot is a gym called Forma. its a little smaller but nice but has no hot water last I was there. Its about 20 por mes cheaper.
There is one in Buenos Aires that is small but has benches and bikes and dumbells.Its a 5-6 mil taxi ride from Poblado. Its only 3 mil por dia!!. But its too crowded after 5pm to enjoy. Unless your just girl watching.

What Elk said is correct. Now getting back to the original question: Yes you can while in Colombia. Go to a University in Bogota and tell them your desire and it should be no problem. Bring a spanish speaking friend along if your Espanol no es casi perfecto.

Thanks ....... Thanks all for your help. My financial situation is basically I have been working in the states for 6 months and then living in Medellin for six. I am sorry to say I don't have a lot of money in the bank and when I am in Colombia my income is O.I usually go with 10 grand and it is plenty for six months,actually I can live for a year there on that. I can show past income for years of $800 or even $2000 per month, but once I am in Colombia my income stops.
I do work as a teacher for 2 different schools in Medellin. But is not on the books.That is how I plan to support myself long term there, 2 mil por mes.Working alot of hours. Poorbuthappy right?
Also it's is hard to get a work visa because the schools don't seem to want to deal with the paperwork involved.
I just don't know, maybe I should call the embassy in Miami, I heard they are the best of them.
Anybody know this lawyer Estaban who posted? Is he legit?

si es verdad its true, it is exactly like the coca cola was in u.s.a. many years ago...it is because in colombia they use real sugar in the coke...in u.s. they use corn syrup. its also got more water in the u.s.a. also, so it has less taste...

LISTEN dont worry, assuming your flights on scedule the aviana gate is not far from the delta gate.youll have your boarding pass already so just find the aviana terminal and go to the person there who is standing in front.tell him or her the situatuion, i had the same experience in the same airport, the guy walked me right up to the front and i got IN the plane.I didnt get ON it because its too windy up there...Dont worry much.

I will tell you exactly what you need.
2 things.
you need a notarized copy of your birth certificate.
this document must be less than 3 months old.
if it is more than 3 moths old, it is worthless there.
also you need a letter of solitarity.
this is a notarized original of a letter stating you are not already married. and less than 3 months old.
signed by two people stating they have known you for at least ten years.
Both papers must be sent to your states capital and apostilled.
without the apostille they are also worthlesss there.
Find a notaria in Colombia who has a translater working in the same office. Because the papers must also be translated into espanol when you are there.
This is exactly what you need, regardless of what anyone else tells you. I know because I recently did it.......Good luck.

I think i will gamble on NOT asking the notaria if we need an apostile because they will probably just say yes,and that will open a new can of worms.
Especially if I need something from the gov. in nj.
