Juanes comments on (Why Is Pasto OFF the Beaten Gringo Trail?) or, Why You Should Never Date a Pastusa: kat, creo que los colombianos tengo bromas y chistes sobre la gente de pasto, estoy corecto hermanita ? darme uno si tu conoces... its like we english traditionally always tell jokes about the irish man, welsh man and scottish men based on their intelligence mostly.

Juanes comments on blogs about Colombia thank you desi, i thought i would be a bit churched out after seeing so many in all the central american countries, loads in small places and big cities in colombia and latin america but i really appreciated the significance of this one at the end of my journey....im a big mountain fan too and beach and jungle so its hard being back in london, puedes imaginar.
Juanes comments on how about a breast reduction por mi noviacita colombiana porque no me encanta las lolatas ahortia de ella, puedes aconsejarme cual es mejor ?

Juanes comments on Going to Leticia and need help! oh yeah something important about the water there, if visiting later in the year , i was told by our guide that there is less rainfalll and the water routes become harder/take longer to navigate cos you have to follow the deepness/river bends more as oppose to just plowing straight down the middle.....i was there april 2007 for 2 weeks so this time was fine i was told...
Juanes comments on Going to Leticia and need help! of course teja, feel free to ask anything my friend and thanks for looking at my travelblog. it is a sony cybershot dsc120 which i bought back in 2004...i owe a debt of gratitude cos when i went to parque nacional los nevados near manizales it snowed and i took snaps and got water in the lense, but as you can see it is thanks to a camera repair man in cali where i waited for five days that he fixed it for my trip to leticia and onto buenos aires....u been to san cipriano in colombia teja ?

Juanes comments on Going to Leticia and need help! thanks, just my sony cybershot 5.2 compact digital with carl veiss lens, got me through snow, ice, fire, volcanoes, from mexico to argentina........the thing is there the scenery is amazing enough for all shots....i also have a travelblog with more of colombia if you have time...gracias..
Juanes comments on ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME, TO OPEN THE FORUM UP TO NEW MEMBERS? i never knew it wasnt open to neuvos miembros.........thats tonto really..
Juanes comments on San Agustin i went from popayan and the journey is amazing, the road does get a bit ragged but nothing compared to all the roads in bolivia and the bus journey from cuzco to lima, jesus christo !
enjoy the scenery, stay a few days, visit the museum there yourself and get a guide to go horseriding or in a jeep with a few others to see las cascades y las ruinas......take pics from the bus windows of the great journey but hold onto your camera matey....
your route is ecuador - rumchaca - ipiales (dont miss las lajas), pasto - san agustin - neiva (desierto de tatacoa).....my suggestion coming from your way..
Juanes comments on Going to Leticia and need help! first of all great choice my friend, the people there will appreciate your pesitos.
second, you will be bombarded with offers when you arrive by plane from bogota presumably if you havent taken the long boat from manuas or iquitos which is worthwhile doing after anyway while your there. ignore these people and head straight for the town and research things around the marina and get a hotel first.
third, take wellington boots of your heading out in the boat, jungle exploring, etc and if you plan to visit the village tribes some sweets, etc for the kids is a good idea.
fourth, malaria tablets and spray are essential but the spray worthless, 90 mozzy bites on my legs but i did fish for piranhas in swampy conditions there. take pletny of bottled water and watch what u drink there, in 13 months of travel through the americas i never been as sick one morning there..
fifth, binoculars are very good cos when you go on a tour and it does rain there, the animals hide more and to see birds, changos, monos, delfinas rosas, you need to have a basic pair.
check my travelblog for more ideas and if you need help, feel free to message me..oh, this is a pic of the tour guide in our foto who is excellent, i managed to get him for 40-50 us a day including food, water, etc with two aussies and paid for the driver too. you cant miss him in small town there, he is missing part of his fingers after numerous piranha/caymen encounters there in the rivers, im sure his name was joe..

Juanes comments on right i am gonna stop ordering chinese take away (once per year) and buying noodles from the supermarket and checking the labels of any new clothes i buy from now on... hasta luego chinos what about rice, can i boycott that ?
Juanes comments on For Pasty Gringos: How get that colombiana to notice you 1. regla numero uno ......por favor no parace como 'bobo' o 'tonto' despues de tomar cervezas alla en colombia
2. regla numero dos......cuando salgas por la noche o una salsateca llevas ropa apropriada

Juanes comments on No Wonder the Lonely Planet Guide misses so Many details in the Colombia Edition!! thorn tree is pretty good as is travelblog for speaking to bloggers over the world who have spent time there. i took lonley planet 9th edition for south america which i bought in costa rica in feb 2007 but the information is from 2004 , i bought it before i landed on feb 14th in cartagena from panama. it does have good info and i wouldnt have gone on the san cipriano train in the jungle if it wasnt for that book.....a good mix of friends there, internet research and lonely planet is good.. however, sometimes i feel a bit stupid with the bible as if the book is dictating to me what i should see and where i go so for the last 2 months of my latin american journey i only used it as a headrest on the beach or to roll a dooby.... i would recommend sometimes its worth travelling ad hoc without travel book and looking for adventure and places to go which are maybe not as well visited, maybe one would have a better travel experience cos often in central america from mexico city to panama city i came across the same traveller groups on this route.

Juanes comments on Plastic Surgery in Colombia speaking of surgeria, can anyone recommend a good surgeon in colombia for a breast reduc op por mi noviacita and cuanto cuesta por favor.......en este momento prefieramos las lolatas un poquito mas grande...entiendes ?
Juanes comments on Can This be Done?? looks like this bike needs no repairs although i did see a slight crack appearing.....maybe you can get on the pan american and ride like the wind.
Juanes comments on And it's said that Colombia is dangerous for Gringo's? i reckon the new shoot a gringo on site with plastic bullets is ok like they do in cartagena...especially when they go around wearing those shorts, no socks and trainers
Juanes comments on No Wonder the Lonely Planet Guide misses so Many details in the Colombia Edition!! damn pinche, chinga, hija de puta, flojero, bobo gringo.....this is what the local police decided to do to him when he came back to cartagena for having a useless effect on the tourism industry there
Juanes comments on maybe but first they need to get to grips with the english language if it is to become a true world economy in the 21st century.
Juanes comments on For gringos is easy to say "I love you" as it is to go to the toilet i dont know if the original post is right. i would disagree kat and say 'por algunos gringos es mas dificil para usar el bano en lugar de decir 'te amo'.
Juanes comments on El turismo sexual en Cartagena sigue en auge interesting pirry video kat...i like the way the women makes a distinction between europas, gringos y canadienses, it seems that italian and spanish men seem to be some of the main culprits of this under age cartegena sex thing, thing is..there probably some of the most racist people still left in europe with black people not like the french or english, which seems odd that they want to go with young black girls from colombia...
Juanes comments on And it's said that Colombia is dangerous for Gringo's? to go back to the original post anyway, i dont see the point of living like lovell suggested at all with those alarms and stuff. i have some decent wedge but i dont go to any great lengths to protect my property just window locks...if you are going to live abroad like i plan to and maybe buy a place whats the point in those prevention things, surely better to just blend or hide your wealth a bit more while there...i saw loads of these type of buildings especially in big cities in brasil and el salvador, etc and its not exactly 'viviendo en paraiso' is it ?
Juanes comments on And it's said that Colombia is dangerous for Gringo's? LOL rubito, a bit like rambo in first blood, he only killed one person in that movie right not like his latest where the body count i think is every 35 seconds. maybe you can go and help robi and ddogs up in santa marta on a crusade to wipe out the under age sex there ?
Juanes comments on Will McCain become the first Colombian born President of the USA? problem is he looks more red neck than latino....im looking forward to a few more military missions overseas when he gets in.
Juanes comments on And it's said that Colombia is dangerous for Gringo's? i remember hearing gun shots real close for the first time close to my hotel in central medellin, ecuador 58 calle cercita a parque de simon bolivar when a security guard was firing random shots at a guys back running down the street after stealing something early in the morning toward the metro line.... at home in london i just have a nine iron in the cupboard, twice people have tried to have my mountain bike off outside in the street and i run after them in london. i could never live with the guily of firing off a weapon and possibly killing someone i think.
Juanes comments on Medellin Auto Rentals ill try and have a look for you ray when i get time. i actually am in customer care worldwide for people who have issues after renting but i can check for you...
Juanes comments on hard to find items in Colombia oh and a decent grass flat football or soccer pitch to watch teams or play yourself.
Juanes comments on hard to find items in Colombia rizla paper for rolling you know what, there a few shops around ecuador 58 close to parque de bolivar in medellin and one shop only i found in downtown bogota close to el museo del oro.
Juanes comments on El turismo sexual en Cartagena sigue en auge you must have loads already in colombia desi because they are sure not living here in london. most of the latinas i believe who emigrate for a while tend to be the less attractive ones i think, the fine ladies from rio, sao paulo, buenos aires, bogota, etc always prefer to stay in the homeland or their fellas or the men in general there dont want to let them go to the usa or england.........maybe the colombian men laugh at some of the street girls the westerners choose and wouldnt be seen dead with and always scraping the bottom of THEIR barrel ?
Juanes comments on El turismo sexual en Cartagena sigue en auge costa rica ? have you ever been to san jose. i have on my road trip from mexico city and there are more marimacho prepagos o street ladies than ive ever seen, i know cos i always opt for a $10 per nite for my own room in all central and latin american countries. the oldest game in the world my fellow pbh members exists all the way down from guatamala city through san salvador and managua in nicargua, honduras i travelled to the bay islands through their coastal cities and it is prevalant there....if you walk down the copacabana in rio , its right in your face....so i guess as long as the girls make the choice to go that way cos of the monetary benefits or to support family/kids elsewhere in colombia then its no problem....... are any of you aware of the east european trafficking of girls for prostitution into london and western europe by force and taking away off passport and locked up above a chip shop 24-7 for paying people.......no theres the real problem with prostitution...... not the odd gringo deciding to have a bit of a no strings fumble in the jungle while overseas rather than bashing the bishop as suggested by dogerdogs earlier.
Juanes comments on Medellin Auto Rentals no thanks the journey to santa fe or guatape is better by bus anyway.... i work for AVIS and we can beat your prices matey and we have 2 offices in medellin
Juanes comments on i just get them from a friend in wolverhampton who i studied with long time ago. thanks. i never would entertain a maid, i wash the dishes, iron my work shirts, clean the bathroom (well once a month) when i get back from work, done this since leaving home at 17 & if i was fortunate to live with a girlfriend i wouldnt expect her to do all that.....modern man eh ?
Juanes comments on How much for a maid in Medellin. muy buenas parce, yo puedo limpiar su casita en medellin por doce mil cada vez, cuantos salas y banos y camas tienes alla papito, mandarme un mensaje pronto y nos vemos.
chau
su marika
Juanes comments on many wifes want to get paid for everything....
nice one american, ill remember that when i get hitched, does that include sex by the way or just washing the dishes and stuff like that ?
Juanes comments on Definitive Guide to UK Visa Applications. o la isla de san andres posible..... i like the idea of the hassle free option discussed by other pbh posters and what a great location for wedding fotos.
Juanes comments on El turismo sexual en Cartagena sigue en auge nice to see elmo the elder back on the scene, missed his pbh posts, but i now realise why he never needs to use the services of girls he wouldnt see fit to clean his house cos he is such a ladies man and knows all the ways to get jiggy con las latinas por gratis....
Juanes comments on still think machismo will remain strong especially in the americas south of usa, its really strong over there i noticed especially in places like nicargua and peru and remote parts of latin america and colombia, the machos over there will prevail for a long time because of course us english are renowned for being 'caballeros' y hombre con todo respecto por las mujeres, but we are much more in touch with feminism and our female side than our latin counterparts even though we not exactly oil paintings.
