I traveled to Colombia in 2006 for business. Spent 3 weeks there. Enjoyed it tremendously.

I'm a manager in my company's corporate auditing department, thus I get to travel the globe on the company's dime. Our audits typically are 3 weeks in length, which I prefer to short visits. It allows us to tour on the weekends and go grocery shopping with the locals during the week (we always have snacks in our work room!).

Ugh, traveling to Texas in July is not pleasant. I'm not big on hot weather. You're missing the bluebonnets. They're supposedly in bloom now!
