I agree also with GIB, then I was with the government we struggled to make ends meet. My wife and I worked as a team. Well 10 years later I have 3 benzs, a porshe and no wife. I am have a 2 million dollar house that I live in by myself. With all this wealth - no happanies. That's why I am now in Medellion. I respect the Colombian family culture. The American culture is work, more work leading to move bills and a nuclear family.

The above two post are correct. Women are the same everywhere. It's like a US women marrying Donald Trump. Most would? The older man can get a marry most poor colombian women. Her life would be changed for the better. Why not it's a win - win situation. However when she gets to the USA, millions of young Donald Trumps will be after her. I think it's a 90% chance she will be gone within two years. They will be faced with age and race discrimination.

I don't know if the site is government or not. You can stay here up to 6 months without having to leave. You are required to leave for one day. The student visa works the same and it's easier to get.

It has to be the first time I visted Medellin. I speak no spanish, everyone starring at me like I was from Mars. The dark airport and they search you when you enter the country. I amost dumped on myself. That was my first trip to south america.
