well...after 20 questions my wife(pr canadin) and i can now visit and fly through u.s. air space...took about 4 months to book an apointment with the u.s. embassy in calgary and a special trip there ...and 150 can bucks..so she could travel through the u.s. U.S.customs and immigration embassys in canada are backlogged to the point they are almost usless

Ive been trying to get a transit visa for my pr resident colombian wife so we can fly through the u.s. when traveling to colombia and its next to impossible.Unlike an american immigrant pr who can come and go as they please to canada a canadian pr needs a special transit or visiters visa to fly through or visit the u.s. CANADIAN PR VISA NOT SUFFICIENT TO FLY THROUGH U.S.

Dicovered this out the hard way.I phoned American airlines back in oct/07 while booking flights and asked if my colombian wife needed anything other than her canadian pr visa to go through the u.s.After a 45 minite wait on hold to get an answer i was told she was good to go.I even asked..are you sure?? i don,t want any problems at the airport.Leaving edmonton canada yesterday we got as far as u.s. customs and were told she needs a transit visa...talk about pissed off.Had i known i had lots of ti ...

U.S and canadian citzen in jail in colombia and abroad.

Just watched a show on TV here in canada about people locked up in prizons in forien countrys.Some of them have not even had the benifit of a trial.The canadian goverment and embassys are totally useless and provide zero help...not even a visit or investigation.And of those convicted manny convicted with bogus or no proof.Even after knowing of canadians bieng held in forien prizons(without charges) for as long as two years...and knowing that torture was involved..such as bieng stripped and beat ...

humming bird feeders in colombia

Just wondering if they are available in colombia....i noticed at my wifes mothers a few buzzing around and thought i might bring a few feeders and nectar as gifts to colombia.I have a feeder out here in canada that attracts a lot of colourful hummers...(in summer)... If we have a child ...born in canada (mother colombian) can this child have dual citizenship.

Tv stations in colombia

visiting the beaver palace..

Some of the bars in colombia make the movie coyote ugly look pretty tame.Back in aug /06 i had occation to visit one in Barranquilla.My wife to be was having a staget party ..ladys only , and a few friends ive come to know in BQ decided we should do a little party time as well.
We ended up in this bar witch had about 40 very hot ladys parading around in g-strings ...pantys..and nightys...i think the guys thought that bieng i was soon to be married mabee i should get a little last minite ...

Taking my sweetheart home...got the visa canada

A glorious day...was down here in BQ spending time with my wife and all set to return home to Cannada tomorrow (alone)...when holy crap her passport arrived with her visa..
Now i can,t wait to see the look in her eyes when she see,s how different it is from colombia.It will be a whole other world.I just want to watch the expressions in her eyes.
Ill book different flights and ...spend a week here celebrating with her family and we will leave together.

i was married in augost in colombia and submitted an application for sponsorship and a pr visa for my wife..it was approved in canada and the package is now in bogota...looking at canada imigration website i can see that bogota moves and works at the speed of a snail...we recieved a letter saying my wifes application has been recieved and placed in que...meaning its now on a shelf left to gather mouse shit and dust....her medical papers will have expired befor they get around to looking at them. ...
