I quit my job in Germany and went to live with my husband in Colombia and love it. I have been offered jobs equal to the one in Germany - so even that has not been proven to be problematic. Go for it - it is a great country!

The situation is not soo bad regarding possibilities... I have been searching for about a month and now have several offers in the international companies... However, the key is to communicate in Spanish. I would try the American Colombian Chamber of Commerce. They might be able to help.
