jamescoscia comments on moving to Cartegena moving to cartagena hey shakira...i'm an american presently living in manizales but will be moving to cartagena next july for at least a couple years. how long have you been there? how's your experience been thus far?
jamescoscia comments on Moving to Cartagena cartagena i know it's gonna be a bit more expensive there for me as opposed to manizales. maybe some good cheap eatery's, nightlife, and shopping that's out of the bocagrande/el centro area. also i'm interested in buying a scooter and any info regarding that would be great as well. also, areas i should stay out of.

jamescoscia comments on Are there any other gringas with Colombian boyfriends What about the other way around? How do the women of Colombia view gringo's as boyfriends/husbands?
jamescoscia comments on Moving to Manizales A little concerned... I hear plenty about Manizales being very small with not much to do, except for 18-24 year old crowd. How 'bout a single guy older than said group?
jamescoscia comments on Moving to Manizales Thanks for the info guys. 18-24 crowd? doesn't sounds like my type of crowd. any jazz clubs, or clubs for us older hombres (i speak for myself only)? Looks like i chose a real small town to be for the next couple years. I had a choice btwn Manizales and Medellin and thought the smaller city would be a better starter. Is it expensive to travel to other cities within Colombia?

jamescoscia comments on Moving to Manizales Fitness Center Walking the terrain of Manizales will help, but I still want a health club/gym. Plus, I may look for some P/T work as a fitness trainer...something Ive been doing for the last 15 years.
