I got mine last sept! Clinica Sigma is an amazing clean hi-tech newer one stop shop in cali. I can't say enough about it there, the people are super nice and the eye doctor speaks english that did my eyes, Andre. I also got my teet worked on there too. I have astigmatism and they only charged me once in the beginning $1.2cop like $550! and never asked me for another penny! That included my astigmatism and follow-ups!--Jason

was just there... A couple weeks ago i was hanging out with some friends at platypus and then at Zona Rosa, Zona T. Both are a good choice for a place to stay and a place to go have fun and a taxi ride for 2+ people is economical and convenient at all hours in my opinion. --Jason

After hours and Crazy Places! I get bored easily and find things to do when there is nothing to do! I travel alone a lot and must feel pretty comfortable when I go out so I judge a place by it's management, staff, environment, clients, etc. Keep in mind locals will assure you that nothing is happening at these times and hours, but I DO KNOW different!! Monday and Tuesday nights BBC bogota beer company Zona T and the irish pub around the corner is usually packed with enough people until 2-3am then I found it to be a very comfortable and welcoming party at a great whorehouse called 49! just tell a cab driver "vamos a fortynine!" This place actually saved my life from complete boredom that is. The drinks are expensive for example a beer and they only serve heineken in a can is $10,000 cop. The management is super friendly and they could care less if I use the services of the ladies, absolutley NO pressure and i know cuz i never have done that. But I have made friends with some of the ladies and left with them on several occassions with no problems upon my return ever. it is not really even a strip club, but i enjoyed it cuz everyone was having so much fun there until like 7-8am!! It's a great place!

If that's not enough there's a true after hours place that I met nice people in and had fun in and was actually alone there in a way (there were a bunch of other people there too) it's called Cascadas. And if your mention that to anyone who knows anything but not enough.. they look at you like you're crazy cuz that place is sooooo BAD! yeah, maybe if you act like a jack ass anyplace can be BAD! I was there on a tues morning til about noon! and it was packed when i left!

You have to try the poppers and acid at GOTIKA! That's an electronic club in Zona T and gets crazy! The nights I know from being there it's packed wed, thur, fri, and sat nights! $20-40k just to get in! The owner is all biz and that's good cuz he's always looking out and taking care of people. Lower level is kinda intense electronic house music, and the upstairs 3rd level is an insane party crossover to old school hip hop just people being insane!! So Fun! Cinema is an intense electronic club too, fun but me and my buddy think Gotika is wayyyy better!

Quiebra Canto in Candaleria is fun a regular place to go wed night is cross over with some reggae I know and the weekend is more typical type salsa...

lasik surgery I had my eyes done in cali last september and am extremely pleased with my current vision :) All inclusive one price including all follow-ups etc. except my several bottles of needed eyes drops cost me one time $1,200,000 cop inlcuding my astigmatic defectation! One of my dearest experiences... I dated an 18 year old hottie paisa and we got along great! She was a pretty good girl introduced to me by a friend and never had sex, we made some fun memories just having fun I guess... Until her mother came along, a wicked woman of 36 with 4 kids hinting about money from our very first meeting and flirting with me just to piss her daughter off i suppose. guided by her mother i'm sure, the lies and deception started to kick in and that was the end of that :( now i'm on to #31.5!!

WAAAY more common in the USA!! After spending a month in cali recently and hanging out all the nights with various groups of colombianos of different socioeconomic levels, I came to realize that recreational drug use and smoking in general in that region is not common. Not that colombians would ever complain, but I had no problem quitting smoking because i basically felt out of place even in bars. Drugs for instance, the only two situations that I believed cocaine was a factor at all, both involved white guys! Only once did I encounter the dank, reefer, weed, pot, colombian gold, and it was great from what i heard. and all the different times i hung out with the same guys, they were NOT stoners and i think that was just a unique occasion probably. Unlike in the USA, the indegents, homeless, and hookers were drunks at best from what i gathered. my experience was similar during my stint in Peru.

I party almost more than anyone i know regularly most nights of the week traveling or not, and i have to say in all my experiences across the the USA the situation is the same, demand for drugs is overwhelming: crack, coke, weed, pills, shrooms, X, downers, uppers, all-arounders... you name it and most anyone i know can find it! --Jason

Exactly... I'm having the same problem, well not exactly a problem, situation i suppose. This one gringo explained to me a long time ago in Lima, "why do latin men cheat on their ladies... Because they CAN!" Ok, that's nice and all and i'm a 'more-the-merrier type of guy' but at the same time i'm having serious trouble finding a genuine nice girl that's worth my effort. I have developed a LOT of lasting relationships in several countries where the girl thinks i'm not going to commit ever and they accept it and we have fun and f*ck at every opportunity. But that's not real love, fun but not love. Are you looking for love or good times? I prefer both!

It's interesting cuz everytime i think i'm with the most amazing girl in the world, i catch myself saying in my head "damn look at that!! OMG!!!" and the next day i'm with another hot chica that i think is the very best and the cycle never ends!!! the only time i experience this is in south america and the first time was in Lima.

Lately i've been heavily leaning toward the LOVE side and now i tend to turn every friggin should-be one-night stand into a serious love affair! The bad thing is that my standards seem to be on this escalating scale with no ceiling and with every passing day no lady will ever be good enough... then i put my lover on the back burner for the smallest reasons to explore my new possibilities with better characteristics. In Cali I had my refractive laser surgery performed in cali about 1.5 months ago by an excellent doctor who speaks english. Clinica Sigma is a beautiful place and i was happy with the quality service and price. I got some dental work done there as well.
