Very enjoyable town with temples, a nice lake and a great countryside around it.
There are a lot of nice guesthouses here, many with rooftop restaurants, some along the lake, others near the bazaars.
You can hire bycicles to check out the countryside. There are some palaces and forts and bazaars, and the old city is confined within old walls - a great place to just wander and stumble upon colorful markets.
There's a trainstation. Buses to Ajmer take 4 hours, to Jaipur 5 hours, to Jodphur 10 hours and to Kota 1 hour.
