Cheap Air Fares??? To Bombay

Anyone have any good places for cheap airfares to Bombay from Philadelphia, Newark, or New York City. The trip would be about ten people in March from lets say the 6-18th of March. I have a couple places that I have used in my two prior trips but wanted to see if anyone had better.

Thanks

Ya I have been to Mumbai twice and here is how I got there each time (both were extremely luck).

1) In 2005 I bought a round trip ticket anywhere in the world from a kid on ebay for $500. ( the ticket was a thank you for being a frequent flyer) It was my intention to use it to go see my brother in Perth Australia for school. He had only been there for tow months on year tour so I in turn used to see his now wife at the time girlfriend in Mumbai.

2) In 2007 my brother and the same girl got married. Of course they wanted a celebration in India as well. So I read India Abroad as often as possible. I was like what the hell I am going to see if this outrageous prices they post as ads are really true. Well they were my sister and I bought round trip tickets from Newark to Mumbai for $650.

I tried the second route again. Seems the best I can get is $950. So I am going to wait it out. Seeing that gas prices are down to $1.65 here in Jersey that must spill over eventually to the airline world.

Your probably think why did I ask???? I guess because that is how I stumbled on things before poking around. But thanks for the help.

I flew Continental from Houston to Newark to Mumbai a couple of weeks ago. Nice flight. I can't tell you how much it would cost as my company allows me to fly business class. Sure beats connecting through Frankfurt. I'd rather fly direct for 14 hours in the middle of the night and sleep than to change flights in the middle. Good luck!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the fares to Mumbai are now going back up. Not by much but at least $45-$100 a ticket. So if anyone is interested on reaping the benefits of the cheap fares now is the time to do so.........
