IanWorthington comments on The Best of Colombia Experts wiki born! Thanks for all your comments guys -- Anyone can add stuff. Just register and away you go. Home is at http://isw.me.uk/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=The Best of Colombia Experts or http://isw.me.uk/colombia Davivienda is mentioned as giving 500k. I'll add B de O, thanks. I think you're wrong about citibank, as per rhydewithdis: I opened a USD a/c in the UK with them last year, so I can i) draw more per tx, ii) not have to pay a tx fees. Works well for me. If the norm in bogota has now gone up to 400k, could someone confirm and I'll correct it: it was 300k last time I did the rounds. ian

IanWorthington comments on GPS maps of Cali and surrounding area No Garmin-compatible vector maps I've come across (yet). But there are some other maps around that could be converted. The current best of the best, at least for BOG (I haven't checked CLO) is Google Maps: if you have a cell phone with gps and internet you can find yourself on there. There's even a service which can be configured to down the download the maps so you can stay offline, but I'm afraid its a "some assembly required" job. i
