I saw you live in Cartagena and would like to know if can suggest a decent hotel, $40-$60, in a nice neighbourhood. It'd be great if you could provide the phone # and web site, if available. I'm travelling with a young child.

I wanted to do the same thing and have to call them. They were very nice on the phone and actually told me that, if you can, it's cheaper to buy the domestic portion once we're in Colombia.

Gator, Thanks for you comments. I've seen in different guides that there are some nice views between Villa de L and Tunja. Some monastery and a lake. Is that all a made up story? OK, any tips about the Zona Cafetera? When is a good time of the year to be there. We can stay there for about four days and must see as much as possible.
