Citibank your Bank that never (sleeps) wake up. Since one week I am calling the hotline every day and I am going to the local Bank Manager every two days. The result is that they are telling me that they are working on it, 14 days "working on it" means that they cannot tell me nothing about the money EURO 50.000 after 14 days of investigating :o) . OK take a deep breath and lets go out , today is party time in Cartagena, Fiesta de Independencia. PS: Yes Colombian Banking is really a "developing country" business and it will stay one. Brazil Banking for example seems quite more effective. Perhaps I will move to Paraguay it is starting to borring me.

The barrio is nice and you are 5 minutes from the center by taxi or colectivo (USD 0.6). The price per month including everything is USD 500. Only NONE SMOKERS! USD 30 for 55 sqm for a brand new appartment is not expensive in Boca Grande you pay the double to the triple. And the barrio is sure, here are living several foreigners.

Thanx everybody to your help :-) Regarding the splitting of the transfers I did indeed suggest it to the Citibank that I wil make 3 tranfers, but they told me it is the same because the accumulate the amount of the transfers. PS: soon I will give you an update

... it is close to Crespo and the price is USD 30.- or COP 60.000 for two persons. The barrio is no so rich as Boca Grande, but it's quite good.

thanks, it is exactly what I did I gave them a copy of my bank extract in Europe but the very friendly bank director told me that is not enough. The need to have a document that shows what was my job or my activity in Europe. PSFor less than USD 20.000 there is no problem.
