hansbert comments on Budget hotel in Cartagena

I stayed in Hotel Toledo, Av. San Martin, Boca Grande I just came back from Cartagena. Stayed in an executive room (with cable TV, telephone and a refrigerator) for about 27 USD (60'000 Col. Pesos) per night I can warmly recommend this hotel. It is very clean, safe and centrally located. Just around the corner there is a supermarket (Olimpia). It is open 24 hours. The staff in hotel Toledo (formerly called Paris) is very friendly and helpful. So it is a very good choice.

Some serious information The objective of my posting was to find a serious advice as to a moderately priced hotel. All these comments given so far do not help me much. So please provide me with some useful and serious advice regarding the subject. Thanks again !
