Gaijin comments on Shipping the motorcycle.......temp permit

Gaijin comments on Shipping the motorcycle.......temp permit

you can't do that no more, colombia law came out july 30th to only allow neighbor countries to have the access to the temp. permit.

Gaijin comments on Does the US Embassy pay Colombia citizens less the US citizens for the same job?

About the whole coke / pepsi / postobon stuff...in the colombia they dont export these products? they get it straight from the manufacturer in the states. So they are paying the minimal wage...so what so is every single colombian company. Yeah its true maybe coke and pepsi should pay more for the fact that they are billion dollar companies but like most people that come to colombia from other countries think " hey if the colombians do it in colombia why can't we!"

Gaijin comments on Bringing a car to Medellin

i know of a way to do it, it's a hassle, but its legal. and you or your family will be paying taxes on it every 3 to 6 months until it leaves colombia. Unless you have the money or the car is a cherrished belonging of yours i wouldn't do it, even though i'm dong it right now, but the car is my toy so i'm willing to do it.

Gaijin comments on South American Free trade

I have an agent who takes care of all my products being imported to colombia and exported to the US. If you want his number send me an email to Gaijintuning at hotmail.com. I know he can help you out, but he only speaks spanish so hopefully you speak it well.

Gaijin comments on UFC in Bogota

i don't know of any right now...but in the process of looking for good place here in bogota to put my sports bar up, which i will be televizing these events.

Gaijin comments on need advice on a job or bussiness.

It's pretty funny what Chris said because i'm in the process of looking for a stratigical place to put a sports bar selling all the american beers and some perfered beers from other countries that us americans love and pizza and wings, oh and hot dogs. If thats not american enough i don't know what is. lol

Gaijin comments on shipping a car to Bogota from the US

Oh by the way the way i'm doing just doesn't let you sell the car. So you can't buy a used car out of colombia to bring it into colombia to sell it. Unless you fake the vin, which like someone in this thread said if it illegal in the US then I'm not doin it..except for weed LOL.

Gaijin comments on shipping a car to Bogota from the US

Hey i havent read this whole thread but to let everyone know you can import a used car into colombia legally its a loophole in the laws of colombia. I'm not going to explain exactly how to do it, but i'm letting you know you can do it, but its not going to have colombian license plates on it for a long time. I'm in the process of doing this with a car i bought in florida for $400 USD.
