Hotel Platypus

This place appears very inexpensive. Are the private rooms clean and at least semi-quiet? Would lime to find a hotel in north Bogota no more than $30 USD. Any ideas?

Questions about Bogota

Hello! I have a few questions about Bogota. 1. Does anyone know how strict customs is about letting someone pass with snack foods? I want to bring in 6-7 one pound bags of assorted nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.). These bags would be sealed & unopened. These would be for my consumption and a gift or two. How about dried fruit? This would be in unsealed plastic bags. Maybe 2-3 pounds of raisins and apricots. Again for my consumption.
