Didn't see it yet, so I'll ask...

I am a golf nut... So, did anyone see Carmilo Villegas at the PGA tournament at Doral (Miami)? From what I understand, this is a first --- It was great to see the gallery following him -- flags of Colombia, cheering/proud... (the gallery following Villegas was just as big or bigger than the one following Tiger Woods).

From what the announcer said, a TV crew from Colombia (dunno the station) had flown in just for the event and to follow Villegas.

I-130 request for evidence

I sent in the I-130 packet on Feb 6 of this year. Waiting to recieve evidence that they are processing this packet so that I can send in the I-129F for my wife....

1. Do I need to place a formal request to recieve the evidence/reciept? Or do they just automatically send this out after recieving the I-130?

2. Can someone explain the Processing Dates portion of the website (Texas Service Center)? https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter= ...

I-129F for spouse....

Ok -- my turn for a question...

We married Jan 20th 2006 and I am preparing to send the I-130, then followed by the I-129F so we can be together here in the U.S. as soon as possible...

I did not notice anything specific in the instructions for each of these forms, but I have a concern regarding Affidavit of support....

Do I need to file/include an I-864 or some other Affidavit of Support package?

Cartagena Explosions...

May 26, there were 2 seperate explosions of small R-1 explosive. The first was only 1lb the other 5lbs -- these seemed to have broken all facad windows in the Centro Uno shopping plaza...

does anyone know further details? anyone caught or take responsibilty?

Up until Feb 1st 2005, we had been preparing our documentation for me to obtain a visa to enter Colombia and have our wedding.
