I`ve tried various months and even different routes and it always says the same thing. Not available. Anyone know if they have frequent problems with the site? Anyone else having problems today finding flights on the Spirit Air site? Just seems really odd that 0 flights that I search are available. Many thanks. ...
President Chavez said he was "delighted" and "jubilant" at the successful rescue and was looking forward to welcoming Mr Uribe for a planned visit in the near future admitting that "we said some hard things. Between brothers such things happen". -from the BBC Give me a %&/$ing break! ...
OK, now I´m sure there are some good ceviche places in the big cities but this tomato ketchup, mayo thing everywhere else just doesn´t work for me. So, when I found this new place in Taganga that has a real peruvian ceviche. Ah, yeah!!! The owner Jesse used to work at Gaton and Astrid, the famous Peruvian place, in Bogota. He recently opened his local, Madame Tagange just down the hill from the La Casa De Felipe. At 12 mil for a ceviche this baby is sure to please. He also has other gr ...
Hi all. My girl is German so needless to say we must see all or as many of the German matches as we can. I assume that in Tayrona and beyond that won´t be possible. So in Santa Marta and in Cartagena where could we catch the matches? Is this a Direct TV must have to see? Many thanks ...
So I´ve heard good things about the area up the coast. Casagrande is an option for a visit. I´ve also heard of Mehndicuaca and a place called Cinta. Most of the directions I´ve seen have been kinda tough to follow. Anyone know these spots or know of where I may be able to read up a bit more? Many thanks. ...
I was told by an Avianca rep in Lima that it would be cheaper to buy my ticket once I arrived in Bogota. Anyone know which airlines other than Avianca service this route and which is the cheapest. Many thanks. ...
I was there in 2003 and it was great. Then a friend of mine was in Taganga and Tayrona about a year ago and said it was intolerable due to the number of Israelis. Anyone know the current situation? For those that are gonna get all bent out of shape all I am saying is I`m not going to Colombia to hang out with Israelis. If I wanted to do that I would go to Israel. ...

Planning 3 months in Colombia and need to decide real soon where I will begin. I want to surf and party a bit. I´ve read about all the difficulty in finding accomodations in Cartagena and am thinking about starting in Barranquilla or just out side at the Pradomar beach. How is this area leading up to x-mas and for the holidays? Is it dead on x-mas or is it jammed? Please any and all advice cause I gotta buy my ticket real soon.
Another option is Parque Tayrona. I spent x-ma ...
This will be mysecond trip to Colombia and I am totaly excited. I am planning on visiting Cartagena, Barranquilla and parque Tayrona but not neccessarily in that order. I would like to find a nice spot to surf and also with some nightlife. When I was in Santa Marta in 2003 just before X-mas it was dead. Will this be true for the Pradomar beach area 15 minutes outside of Barranquilla? This sounds ideal for me. Several waves in the area to choose from and beach bars with music and people par ...
