I am writing a novel which includes quite allot about Colombia and the different groups and the US involvement. But I am not so naive to believe that people like you have a more in tune idea and thoughts about what's really happening. I would like to hear comments you have about the US in Colombia, their manipulation , purpose there, and what's going on with US/Colombia/ Venezuela.

Traveling around Colombia, I haven't witnessed any US intervention myself, but then I don't visit known dangerous areas. I have only seen happy U.S. tourists enjoying themselves. The tourists are mainly men, but I've seen a few young gringas also.

when you first create a post, it will not be on the active forum(which is very popular) until somebody make a comment on it, some posters usually bump their own post so people can find them in the active forum(i always do) too, sometimes i bump other peoples post so they can be found on the active section too and they can get a quicker answer to their question, i do that when i cant help much about what they are looking for so instead i make it more visible for other PBHers

You should be grateful that genuine PBH Members take the time to BUMP your post so that it may receive more attention.

Chris recently altered this feature. A new post, even without answers, will now automatically appear in the ACTIVE forum. But this is a recent change and most old timers still BUMP interesting posts.

Better to have tried and failed than having regrets all your life about what you MIGHT have missed

hi john. thanks for the e. i'll probably never make it back to cali. it's difficult enough getting back home to envigado. we have our youngest here in the u.s. for her education....two more years of highschool then off to university. when she's in university, we can go home permanently. right now, we just don't have the money to go back and forth at whim. those days are passed. pity.
