Hi Arthur, I am moving to Cali tommorrow and am in the market for a furnished apartment for a couple of months. You seem to be the man to contact. Can you provide me with any leads?

It is definately not natural It would be natural for a white person who had never seen a black person to be attracted to other whites. It would be natural for a black person who had never seen a white person to be attracted to blacks and not to whites. It is NOT natural for blacks whites and indians to be attracted to whites and to want to be white more than they want to be who they are. This is a product of systematic brainwashing by whites in charge for generations and generations. There is nothing at all natural about it and what is truly SICK about the entire situation is that people like you think that it IS natural and go around saying that there is no racism in Latin America.

Isn't that far too expensive? That is comparable to what you would pay to stay at a hotel. There is NO WAY that an apartment in Cali should cost 1600USD per month.

one more thing with respect to the fact that you might find a dark skinned girl who would be in to you I have found that dark skinned people in some countries of South America are even more racist than the whites. They are all trying to lighten themselves up at any cost. It is really sad because they have no pride at all and there is like this TOTAL acceptance that racism against blacks and indians is non-existent. They have created a racial system where everyone wants to be white so much that the darker people feel pressured to say that there is no racism because saying so would be admitting that they are black and are being discriminated against. They are so afraid of this that they say that there is no discrimination and that everything is fine and deep down inside they feel that the racism that they experience is deserved because if they were "whiter" they would be a better person. The whole situation is really disgusting.

take your money and run in the other direction Listen Teddy I don't blame you for not wanting to go to Colombia if the people are like that. It is easy for other people to tell you that it doesn't matter and all of that crap. That you should take the moral high road and just think that it is all their problem and not yours, "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, " It's easy for them to say that but they are not going to be shelling out x amount of dollars for the plane ticket and the lodging just to go somewhere ON VACATION and be treated like crap. It's also not going to be an easy pill to swallow having girls knocking you over to get past you to the blonde, blue eyed loser next to you who couldn't pay for a date in his own country of origin. If chicas are your main reason for traveling you should take your money elsewhere. No one should have to go on vacation and be treated badly bunch of "slave mentality" losers. This is 2007 for God's sake.

ericdharma comments on Want Furnished Apartment Cartagena March 2007

sorry to reply to your question with a question Sorry but I will be going to Cali for the first time this coming January and I want to find a short term rental apartment for the duration of my tourist Visa. Could you help me with some info about how to go about my apartment search? I would like to know if that price that you quoted for a two bedroom would be available for a foreign short term renter or did you only have access to that price because your wife was a local and handled the negotiations. I am sorry to clutter your thread with this but your profile says that you are not accepting e-mails.

Visa I am a U.S. citizen and I was under the impression that I do not need a visa to enter the country as a tourist and that I would be able to remain in the country for 90 days. Am I wrong about this? Also if I rented an apartment at the beginning of June wouldn't it still be the low season. Would they try to change the rate in the middle of the lease?
