This weekend in Medellin

Anybody have any suggestions on what to do this upcoming weekend (11/11) in Medellin? I'm arriving at the beginning of a 10 day trip but know that it's a puente. Does that mean there's no nightlife in the city? I'm planning on sticking around for 2-3 days and then go to the Zona Cafetera.

10 Days in Colombia

Hi everyone,

I'm going back to Colombia for the first time since 2002 for ten days starting November 11. I was thinking about hitting the Miss Colombia pageant in Cartagena - is this worthwhile? Does anyone know about the schedule. The thing is I'm flying into Medellin, which I've never visited before (only Bogota and Cartagena). Just not so sure if I have time to hang around there or not...
