El Polo comments on First Love I remember my first love, it was during a summer trip to Colombia when I was 7, I met a cachaca from my pueblo named Paola, we were both 7 years old. My fondest memory of that summer was giving her a ride from el mercado (her parents owned el mercado) to her house on my american bicycle, the whole ride I rubbed my package on her leg and she let me.

Anoche alcanze a ver los primeros capitulos en Youtube, y aunque tiene el mismo rumbito de todas las novelas me parece vacana porque tiene su propio estilo a la misma vez. Vamos a ver como termina la novelita.

El Polo comments on Is This Cannabis? Weed for some strange reason makes me a quiet person, too quiet. I personally like more of an uptempo crowd. I experimented once and a while, but nothing crazy, I noticed it wasnt for me after I had the deer in a headlight look for about an hour. I know some people who could function perfectly fine while high, im NOT one...

El Polo comments on Small work - Good money. Your job, is to answearing the calls for the telephonenumber on the prepaid card (that means your mobile number) and forwarding the pickup information to your driver-Salsero A problem can be shaky cell phone reception, a few missed phone calls, and the tourist who paid for ten rides up front, might think he's getting ripped off, which equals to bad business, and goes back to what you were trying to avoid in the first place. Also, once your business starts expanding, it might be a little hard to keep tabs on everyone, driver and customers included. Another problem can be late night phone calls at 3:00am from the party going tourist, could be an inconvenience for yourself, you might be sleeping. I think your best bet would be looking into a metered taxi, keeps everyone honest while providing good service, you would just have to find a way to market it to your target crowd. just my thoughts

Most people cant afford $100-$200 jeans, my family included. I guess the mix up was on the "chimbo" comment. When I go to Colombia, yes I bring clothes for my family, and when I shop for them, they rather me buy in quantity rather than quality, thats why I gave out the oldnavy link above. Heres another link I thought of when I was going home last night. I think Aeropostale is a good medium between quality and quantity http://www.aeropostale.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=2000689&cp=2284059&clickid=cat_leftnav_txt

In Cartagena ive notice von dutch, diesel, armani exchange, hollister, all types of clothing being worn by tourist & some Colombians, (mostly upper class). For the most part, I have seen a bit of a fashion sense in Colombia, I have also seen some chimbo t-shirts being proudly worn. I guess what you wear should be an extension of yourself, who cares what other say, and just to take a page from Elmo's book, Hey POLO how the fok do you know so much about that thar fashion so much? simple; NEW YORK FOKIN CITY. Thank you!

El Polo comments on Colombians Funny stories guys, when I was younger all my female cousins would make me dance so I learned by force mostly, we would practice not in a discoteca but in the backyard, we just put some music on that was that, simple fun. Now whenever im back in my pueblo the females actually invite me to dance, and most are impressed at how well I could dance, especially CORRONCHO style which mean CLOSE. Costeñas are really happy women, also know as TRONERAS, its not rare that when they are having a good time they will ask you to dance, if you say no, your a MARICA. Whenever in a party and you hear a disco de los HERMANOS ZULETA get prepared to DANCE!!!

I guess it really doesnt matter, just as long as there is a logo on it, or preferably ALL OVER the shirt or t-shirt, the trick is to buy clothes when out of season. For example, Cartagena is always HOT, therefore I usually buy my clothes online in the winter, when its cheaper. I given out PLENTY of Old Navy clothes, which I found on clearance as gifts, and everyone thinks im the MAN. jeje

El Polo comments on Crime in Cartagena, Colombia Scarver, I wouldnt rely too much on numbers, you just have to go and experience it for yourself, Cartagena has welcomed tourist for decades, therefore it is probably one of the most CULTO cities in all Colombia :) How did you find out about Cartagena dude?

El Polo comments on Colombia coast - interior tension? Thoughts? Barranquilla en full rumba, cule ambiente sabroso
|
|
El Polo comments on Colombia coast - interior tension? Thoughts? I agree to a certain extent, I wouldnt agree with the most, that to me is just a matter of opinion but there are plenty of areas or municipalites with unpaved streets, poverty etc.. so corruption is evident.
