I figure we can merge faceted systems and folksonomies. But if I define a facet, and the users use it in a different way, then what des the metadata mean? What I defined, or how the users used it?

I mean the f.c. is an a priori system (first the facets are defined by some information architect or librarian, then they can be used by users) and maybe is not compatible with a folksonomy system... what do you think about it?
