Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005: Beyond the basics
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005: Beyond the basics: does Windows media Center support RSS 2.0 with enclosures? In other words, can you plug in an RSS feed with video enclosures and will it automatically download videos? (like iTunes does?) I haven’t been able to figure this out…

So if I interpret that correctly, it means that RSS isn’t built into Windows Media Center, but a third party company had to create a plugin, right?

Right Peter not built in support for RSS, but my guess is that is coming in Vista.

Hi Peter,
Guess I’m a little late to this topic, but to confirm — there is no built in rss reader in MCE. TVTonic allows users to add any rss 2.0 feed with video enclosures (QT/WMV/mp4/etc). We are listed in Online Spotlight.
