ecto blog

I am trying ecto for Windows XP with my Wordpress 1.2 blog. It shows the categories of my blog in the ecto interface, so there is some communication with the Wordpress going on, but when I try to post a new post, I get:

“Server error: Response from server does not contain valid xml. ”

Any tips? I tried searching for help but no luck.

    Make sure you have the latest WP (1.2.2), then before you post, open Window->Console. If the post fails, email me the contents of that console and I’ll be able to sort it out for you.

    i had the same problem with wordpress 2.04 and ecto 2.1
    then i found out that my hosting (dreamhost) had meesed something up with htaccess..
