I was just wondering, what type of music people dance to in Medellín. Cali is famous for salsa. From Medellín I only heared that there is some barrio where they dance Tango. Probably Vallenato is popular in Medellín as it is all over Colombia, but that's not really a type of music to dance to in a club.
I like dancing Merengue and Cumbia & would like to learn Salsa....so how is Medellín in that respect???

Hi Everybody! I've been reading the posts on this websites for quite a while now & you guys really encouraged me in my decision to leave good old Germany for a while & study in Medellin at the eafit. Basically just wanted to thank you for all the great information provided here.
