dolphinz comments on On Democracy in Colombia... "Mark Him on the Ballot - The One Wearing Glasses" Of course they are stunning revelations but they are nothing new. Those are only allegations against Uribe and until the link that ties him to the paramilitaries is clearly proven I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. Also how reliable a source is ipsnews.net? I had never heard of that before...

dolphinz comments on Letter from Bill Gates to Alvaro Uribe For sure it was translated. I did not know such development programs with huge multinationals such as this one existed in Colombia. I think it is a good step taken to help the country in going forward.

dolphinz comments on NY Times Piece on Piedad Córdoba Hello all! Me encanta ese foro!!! I can't believe Cordoba lived in Montreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live in Montreal and I can confirm you that it is not bad at all! OK there's a lot of snow but besides that I don't think life must have been so hard for our adored senadora... She probably came here so she could live in relative anonymity. There is a growing colombian population here but nowhere near that of NYC or South Florida... In those places her life would have been as bad as it is right now in Colombia. Good piece from the NYT though...
