Mi Patria says on Jun 24, 2008, 17:40: avidm3: I am handicapped, in a wheelchair (I only have one leg). I was gone 30 years from Colombia and feel like a fish out of water. My Spanish is bad and I have to start over and need to work soon. I have no funds, family or friends to help me out with my present situation. Everything I know is US-related...I was imprisoned before my deportation and lost everything I had. I am sure you are right, I probably could find something out there, but right now I am not equipped, mentally or physically nor am I adjusted to my surroudings. I don't see it feasible for me to just go out there and find a job to sustain me with rent, food, with whatever is necessary. I am sharing an apartment with someone now and they are letting me live here rent-free until I can provide some kind of income for myself. But I am sure they can only do that for me for only a fair amount of time. Thank you for your interest.
