I can relate My baby's father was the same exact way. I was amazed at how he brushed his teeth after he ate or drank anything. He also had to wash his hands (I mean scrub them) everytime he ate something. I had never seen anything like this in my life. I was born and raised in South Carolina, and I have been raised to brush my teeth about 3 times a day and I wash my hands regularly, but he was obsessive with it!!! It must be a Colombian thing..... Which I rather be with someone who is clean than someone who is nasty.... I can not deal with that.

I have a comment I am from South Carolina and I am educated, have my teeth, do not carry a gun and all of that!! Yes, there are some here that are like that, but not all of us..... But we can find those anywhere if you look hard enough!!!

I have to comment I am from SOuth Carolina, actually about 45 miles from Columbia, South Carolina. I have never heard them refer to themselves as Columbians, or anything like that!!! Whenever I hear someone call themselves Colombian, I think of Colombia, SOuth America...


This is just my 2 cents worth!!

A little more info.... I will be fine!! I have gotten over the initial shock of the whole situation and I am better. I do not hold anything against all men. I just seem to attract the ones that are not worth my time. I was married to a total jerk and that resulted in my first 3 boys. Then the guy from Colombia gave me the 7 week old. I love all of them with every ounce of my being and I always will. It is hard being a single mom to 4 wild boys, but I would not change a thing. If I would not have married my ex, I would not have my children and then if I would not have gotten involved with the guy from Colombia, then I would not have my baby. I thank these men everyday for the wonderful gifts that they gave me. Thanks for the kind words. And I know that I will be okay!!!!! :-)

Just my little opinion.... This is the first post that I have made on here, but I had to comment on this issue...
I dated my first Colombian last year. Prior to that, I had always dated guys from the USA. Well, my Colombian was a dream come true for a while. He opened car doors, went ate at fancy places, and just had a wonderful time. He always complimented me, told me how much he loved me and all of that. Well, I got pregnant in August of last year. Whenever I told him, he told me to abort it. Then after he realized that I was not going to do that, he left South Carolina. My father passed away unexpectedly on New Years Eve of this year and due to the fact that the Colombian worked with my father, he did come to the funeral. At that point in my life, I needed him. I was still so in love with him....and he was the coldest human being I had ever met. Here I was almost 5 months pregnant with his child, and he acted like he had never really even met me. All of this because I refused to abort the baby. The baby is now 7 weeks old and looks just like his father(Well, the sperm donor). He does not even know he is here. And obviously he does not care.

I have not gone against latinos in any way. I did learn that I really like latino guys just from being with the one that I was with. This one particular man was a jerk, but there are plenty of guys around me that are jerks too.

It does not matter where a person is from, just what is inside of them!!! The color of the skin is not an issue.... it really all depends on the person themselves..
