Be careful when taking taxis from Rio Negro into Medellin

I arrived in Medellin last week and thought I would be ok by taking a taxi from the airport rather than having a family member meet me in Rio Negro. What a big mistake this was. The ride from the airport was fine. I kept an eye out to make sure we weren't being tailed, and we weren't.
