Colombiche comments on Meltdowns on PBH http://poorbuthappy.com/yourthing/post/well-there-it-is/ Take care guys, C.

Colombiche comments on WEll... there it is!!! Well, as I can see it's business as usual. Too bad, I reached out, found some support but also some really deaf ears regarding this situation. I cannot have my credibility questioned. To watch things go on as if nothing have happened is a little more than what I can handle. Thanks guys and please take care. I very much enjoyed meeting many of you who are wonderful people. Ciao, Colombiche.

Colombiche comments on WEll... there it is!!! BULLSHIT. There is nothing unsubstantiated here and I am not the one who brought up the topic. You know what... I don't need this. This does remind me of msaucey's example... woman asks for help but nobody listens until she is ... what??? 6 feet under?

Colombiche comments on WEll... there it is!!! Sigh. I am sensible sane person, I am not a troll and I don't talk out of my behind. Exhaustive research was done at cblog, JD is very hands on and does not put up with any shit. If the person in question wants to dispute this evidence.. you know where to go.

Colombiche comments on carolinda Bueno webmanco, te puedes quedar muy tranquilo en PBH. Felicitaciones.

Colombiche comments on WEll... there it is!!! Thanks, but unfortunately a coward on the net can get away with a lot. :(

Colombiche comments on WEll... there it is!!! "wouldn't you be very hesistant to continue on a site like this after an experience like that?" You are right, perhaps I should have been hesitant, but I didn't think it was right to let a mean spirited person stop me from doing the things I like .... writing, posting. I've been a member of the site for over 3 years and have contributed my time and efforts to try to keep it going.

|
Colombiche comments on WEll... there it is!!! It wasn't a couple of years ago, it wasn't even a year ago. I can't believe some people up here just say "oh well, stop posting then" or "big deal, your problem you should take security measures". This is real and it can happen to anybody and it doesn't mean she wasn't taking security measures or doing anything to deserve it. The owner of the other blog had evidence that he collected overtime that he shared with the owner of this site at one point in time.

Colombiche comments on WEll... there it is!!! My account was hacked, it wasn't my imagination, neither was the grief I had to deal with.

Colombiche comments on Freedom of Expresion in Colombia and at PBH Let's stop being cryptic now. I am trying to avoid this topic but fuck it, I am going public with this. Back at cblog my account was hacked into, somebody distributed pm's that violated my privacy and caused me months of grief in my personal life (are you happy now?????). I received threats to my life and person for several months. I am not making this up, I have several witnesses that can speak up right now because they saw the entire situation unfold before their eyes. I am not a troll, I am a real person and some people here know me and can attest to that. The guilty party is OFFICIALLY getting away with it (clap clap clap) I have warned Peter and Desi that the guilty party walks among us, but so far all I hear is my own echo. Peter, we need more security and control, URGENTLY. I would hate for this to happen to another one of the ladies here at PBH, to have to go through this. I tried really hard to keep this low key but I can't anymore... I just can't deal with it, I can't.

Colombiche comments on What Do Americans Think of Colombians? ñaños are the ecuadorians, ustedes estan como confundidos.

Colombiche comments on PBH Romantic Tips..... I once had a really bad fight with a boyfriend. He tried buzzing me from downstairs but I wouldn't open the door. I lived on a second floor and had a balconey. He called me up on my cell from a blocked number, when I picked up he said "go to the balconey" and hung up. I went to the balcony and it was full of roses. I still picture him standing out there and throwing rose after rose all the way up to my 2nd floor balconey.... I must say the anger faded.

Colombiche comments on What Do Americans Think of Colombians? Most of my clients hail from little backwater towns in Ontario and Canada's maritime provinces, so my being Colombian makes hip and exotic in their eyes, they call me sinorita and try to talk to me in spanish. They are always asking me to bring them coffee delight candy when I come by for meetings (I got them hooked so I keep a stash).

Colombiche comments on Pros and Cons of Moving to the UK Valid point about London airports being accessible via the tube which is not the case in Toronto (although there is the 58 lawrence bus). I learned my way around the tube later on after spending a few days there, but that night that I arrived with 2 suitcases at 11 pm I wasn't in the mood to experiment. I though the London taxi monopoly wasn't just at the airport... correct me if I'm wrong, but on my way back I actually called a cab from a private company and he explained to me that people couldn't just flag him on the street, only black taxi's can be flagged. He says there is a waiting list of buyers for black taxis which cost 30k pounds or something along those lines. Juanes, LTSB is actually a customer of my customer who is based in the Sutton area ....

Colombiche comments on Starbucks arrives in Little Colombia (Jackson Hts, Queens) Where near La Rusbel do you live rhyde.... do you live on Yonson bubelar?
|
|
Colombiche comments on Pros and Cons of Moving to the UK BTW Montreal is freeeeezing cold, I drove from toronto to MTL and there were mountains of snow while in Toronto you could see the grass on the ground already. Quebec is even more frigid, I wonder when these people thaw...

Colombiche comments on Pros and Cons of Moving to the UK I paid 72 pounds for a black taxi from heathrow aiport to my hotel in sutton. The only reason I didn't faint was because my company was going to reimburse the money to me otherwise I might have jumped off the cab and ran into an alleyway (well my luggage kept me from doing that as well). There are cheaper taxis than the london black taxis... but you have to call them ahead to time and arrange for a pickup, you cannot hail them on the street, I think black taxi's have the monopoly on picking up passengers on the street. London was interesting and cosmopolitan but brutally expensive, I think you need to make at least 50k pounds a year to survive there. It's a place I would visit again but I don't think I could live there. I know a few colombians in Toronto who lasted a few years and then repatriated. Some love it, some hate it. The most common complaints are the cold, the difficulty to find a job in their field and the unfriendly atmosphere.

Colombiche comments on Old Childhood Photos "I wonder if others felt this way when they left Colombia and moved to US for example. But back then, I guess integrating into society couldn't have been that hard because there were enough of Latin communities to blend in with? Does this make sense?" I left Colombia and moved to toronto, albeit almost couple of decades later than you. There weren't that many latin americans at all. I went to school with mostly portuguese and italian kids, although they were somewhat culturally closer to us the gulf was still huge huge, especially because these kids spoke english only.

Colombiche comments on Starbucks arrives in Little Colombia (Jackson Hts, Queens) Enough colombians/colombian places around Collins avenue, once you venture a couple of dozen blocks north from the south beach area.

Colombiche comments on Starbucks arrives in Little Colombia (Jackson Hts, Queens) I have been going to Queens regularly for the past 7 years or so and on every trip I find "La Rusbel" to be getting increasingly mexican. There are still lots of colombian places la antioquenita, Cositas Ricas, Tierras colombianas, Pollos Mario...and the place near 47th where they sell those amazing cholaos (the one with the pink panther sign). . I also notice that the independence party at el parque de flochin seems to get frequented by dominicans, puerto ricans and ecuadorians (colombian wannabe's) :D :D

Colombiche comments on A los gringos les parece terrible Sometimes parents who didn't fare too well in life become somewhat dependent on their successful offspring, it happens in colombian families in Colombia and it happens to immigrants families in North America. It doesn't mean that the son/daughter can't leave home, but when you leave not only do you have to pay your own expenses, but your lifestyle is cramped because you also have to look out for los viejos on the side, no self respecting colombian would ever let their parents go needy.... I have friends who have an empty fridge at the end of the month because they are giving mom and dad money...... sometimes the kids opt for staying at home, WTF, why pay two rents and eat crappy..... didn't you ever hear that vallenato Los Caminos de La Vida..... we always end up working to help mom and dad, the old aunts back home... the nurse for abuelita, the poor cousin who can't pay her english classes......... la vida del hp inmigrante.

Colombiche comments on Quality of Education in USA verses Colombia They used to make us do that in Colombia too. When they caught us chewing gum in class the nuns would make us spit out the gum and sit through the ENTIRE class with the gum stuck to the tip of our noses.

Colombiche comments on Quality of Education in USA verses Colombia "How long before Rubito trots out the greasy ass/de nalgas again?" Ah, here I was thinking Rubito was going to ask us to read these letters out loud in english: T N S L P P B N T S O Jijijiiii..... I feel like I'm back in the 5th grade!

Colombiche comments on Quality of Education in USA verses Colombia Okay, I got it rubito... it took me a minute... proof that the colombian educational system yields great minds ;)
