Close to Bucaramanga, Giron is another little jewel of a colonial town. It was founded in 1631, and its center is restored. These days, it's a hostspot with a bit of a bohemian style: there are artists here, cafes, and it gets busy on weekends with visitors from Bucaramanga. It's a good place to hang out and check out some charming corners and squares.
