Hotel Miramar, Santa Marta, Colombia.

This is perhaps South America's oldest hostel, it's certainly been around for a long time. It has dorms and some hammocks on the roof. Dorm beds are 10000 pesos and doubles 20000.

The Miramar has that kind of "hotel California" feeling (just for being old and from the 60s and being kinda druggy), but I do feel it's over the hill and the owners are just milking it. There are much nicer places to stay in Taganga anyway.
