Hotel Acandi, Ibagué, Colombia.

I searched out a lot of a medium level hotel in Ibagué, but maybe it doesn't exists. So I found Hotel Acandí, among other options as Hotel Center, Nelson's Inn Hotel and Dann Combeima Hotel. Nelson's Inn and Dann Combeima had the same rate (USD $55), that exceeded my budget (anyway Dann is better by far). So, I had two options: Center and Acandí. I chose Acandí beacuse their rate (USD $35) was closer to a medium level hotel in Ibagué and fit the budget (Center is closer to a low rate hotel -$25 USD-).

I have to say Acandí was dissapointing, they have no lobby, they share the original lobby area with a small shops with very narrow space to go in. In the halls you can see many walls unpainted with repair spots. The rooms for two people had only one towel, I had a ripped one. The room walls had dripping stains. The rate includes breakfast, but this breakfast is very consistent with all the rest. You have a lame fruit portion, the coffee doesn't taste like a Colombian one and the chocolate had a lot of milk skin; the dining room looks neglected. Anyway, this hotel have an elevator.

So is a sad experience. Next time I will save more money and will go to Dann Combeima or an expensive, but better, hotel.
