I liked it VERY much! Great atmosphere and everwhere something to discover. All rooms are different. The staff is very friendly.I'm wondering why it seems like it is not so popular...maybe not yet?

The place is just stunning.
I went to Medellín in September 2009 to attend a football game (Colombia 2 - Ecuador 0!) and decided to stay in Casa del Sol because it was in walking distance to the stadium.
The place has a really good vive going on, and the art work is just spectacular. Staff is really friendly and will help you with anything you need.
The private room is just perfect if you're traveling with the girlfriend and you want some privacy. The place is clean and the bathroom is good enough (its just a bathroom any way...). They have room for improvement in the bed (comfortable and big enough, buy a bit noisy), and a fan can make a world of difference in the hot days of Medellín.
Overall, Casa del Sol is a quite and friendly hostel in which you'll feel just at home.

My English is bad because its not my native language. Whats your excuse?
