zip lines near Armenia?

Hi, I am heading down to Colombia this summer and I am looking for the location of some zip lines near Armenia. I believe they are out of Montenegro and I have read a couple of blogs talking about them but I can't find the actual company name or the exact place they are out of for certain. I would really appreciate if someone could give me this information as I plan to head that way straight from Bogota. I am not so hot with these sites ( I just signed on) and don't know where to look for responses to this question. It would be great if you could reply to my e-mail abenson at vsb.bc.ca I will try to look at and use the site as well if you have any other essential things I should do and see while down in Colombia. Thank you! Cheers, SandyBeach

I remember watching a documentary on TV where they sent a cow across a valley on a zip line. Anybody know where that was? (It was in our beautiful Colombia)

What I have, I do not want to lose, but Where I am I do not want to stay, but those I love, I do not want to leave, but those I know I no longer want to see, but Where I die, I do not want to go;I want to stay where I have never been

I had to look it up on Wikipedia myself. Here you go:
A zip-line (also known as a flying fox, zip wire, aerial runway, death slide or tyrolean crossing) consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. They are designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to traverse from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, usually made of stainless steel, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley. Zip-lines come in many forms, most often used as a means of entertainment. They may be short and low, intended for child's play and found on some playgrounds. Longer and higher rides are often used as a means of accessing unusual areas (a rainforest canopy for instance) or found at outdoor adventure camps where they are usually one element on a larger challenge or ropes course.

What I have, I do not want to lose, but Where I am I do not want to stay, but those I love, I do not want to leave, but those I know I no longer want to see, but Where I die, I do not want to go;I want to stay where I have never been

They're big in Costa Rica. People associate them with ecological hikes through the jungle.

Little kids zip line to and from school high above the rainforest in Colombia

But, I'm going to start making some assumptions here.... Which means I might actually end up making an ass out of myself ..........Thu 04 17, 2008 11:34 am
