Tinto (Moderator) says on Nov 15, 2007, 06:00: National Chocolates could have had a good thing, but I think they got lazy and/or greedy. A few years ago they sold those 70g / 2.7 oz bars for $2400 pesos. Now they're $3300 to $3500. The competition has jumped on the dark chocolate as a health food thing and is selling 100g / 3.4 oz bars for less money. Although cocoa/cacao, sugar and milk are are abundant in Colombia I can buy a US, Swiss, German, Belgian or French chocolate bar cheaper in the US than a Colombian bar. And that's with a weak dollar. Dumb asses. Haha.
