yawn.....what have we come to?

earlier today i read a post about who has an opinion about colombian women (or something like that), by mario.

well after reading into it, it was clear that it was growing more and more into a personal assault by one poster against another, none of which was really clear.

what was clear was that all the attacks and foul accusations were uncalled for. we all have to remember, none of us agree with each other...ever. maybe on points here and there, but in total, forget it. why? because we're all different from different cultures, families, lifestyles, educations, experiences, religions races, etc. etc. etc. why should we agree? wouldn't the world be one big boring stew if we all looked, talked, felt, thought, smelled, prayed, enjoyed intimacy, cooked, ate, slept alike. really, life would really suck.

we don't need to have such thin skin. for GOD'S sake lets be more tolerant of each other and put up with each other's opinions. if there's some karmic debt involved, i'm sure GOD will take care of it and our emotional burden (s) will be much lighter. it's like the prophet MOHAMMED said, "...the only real jihad, is agains the enemy within you."

regime change starts at home, if we want to change someone, change ourselves. we can never change anyone else, it's hard as hell to change ourselves.

so, since we're all passengers on this good ship, life, why don't we get along with one another; be like the martial artist and make our first line of defense, a smile. be nice, loving, caring, helpful, concerned and i assure you, all our days will be brighter and the burdens life brings us will be less burdensome.

i like you all, the tall, short, fat, skinny one of you, i'm not overly concerned about your opinions, for, as mine, they constantly develop, grow and evolve. i'm never right, anymore than i'm always wrong. i'm just one of us, and we all need each other.
