Two days to go, It might help them write right Bogotá as well as Colombia.
Located high in the Andes mountains (2640 meters/8661 feet above sea level), Bogata is the largest and most populous city in Columbia, with nearly 7 million residents.
The city was founded in 1538 as Sante Fe de Bogata and since that time has flourished as a major cultural city in South America.
A cultural center, the city is home to 42 museums, 12 libraries, 36 churches, 132 national monuments, 25 universities, 21 theaters and 20 cultural centers.
The city is also known for the emerald trade, as millions of dollars in domestically produced rough and cut emeralds are bought and sold daily.
Additionally, Bogota is home to ciclorutas, a network of 303 km of bike paths -- one of the most extensive dedicated bike path networks in the world.

webmanco says on Feb 26, 2008, 04:24: Will it be a good idea?, will it help Colombia? maybe not, just will teach many people the proper way of spelling. But, I'm going to start making some assumptions here.... Which means I might actually end up making an ass out of myself ..........Thu 04 17, 2008 11:34 am |

jonas says on Feb 26, 2008, 08:19: ...and I can already hear the comments on Colombia... Maybe better if they leave the spelling the way it is ;-) What I have, I do not want to lose, but Where I am I do not want to stay, but those I love, I do not want to leave, but those I know I no longer want to see, but Where I die, I do not want to go;I want to stay where I have never been |
