I'd like to do more portraits in the street like that, but I feel like I'd need a Colombian friend with me to watch my back and talk to the people for me. Something about it just feels so awkward to me... the "rich gringo" with a fancy camera wanting to take pictures of street people... it kind of makes me cringe. I wonder if this photographer gives money to the beggars.
