WiMAX in Cartagena......questions for Sniper,,

I tried to locate a prior thread about WiMAX and Vonage in Cartagena using the google search function on the left, but was unable to after a 45 minute search. So, here is a new post...sorry if it bores you.....=(..but i am sure you will get over it...=)

Sniper, you had mentioned that WiMAX is available at the Olympica in Bocagrande....what is it that is purchased there? Is it just the WiMAX service, or is there hardware available? what hardware is involved, since it uses microwave technology...i have not been able to find anything on WiMax hardware, so possibly it uses existing WiFi hardware?? also, for purposes of VideoChat and Video Conferencing, would your cable or dsl connection in Cartagena be better?
