I have been doing a lot of research on PBH and starting to put a plan together for living in Colombia for a couple of years while obtaining my MBA from the States via online studies. One thing that I see over and over again is how difficult it is to find work/good career in Colombia. Do any gringos explore the options from some of these admin type jobs or customer service jobs from US based companies that are 100% via the internet? I know that most of them only pay $12-$15 USD per hour but that seems like a viable option for most people having problems finding work and living in paradise. I would think that a lot of people would do this while living in Colombia. Am I missing something?????

I am not offering a job if that's how this thread is percieved......I am simply wondering why more people don't do that type of work while living in Colombia (or any place for that matter). All one needs is a solid internet connection and landline. usher-thanks for the "laugh of the day".

stealthyrr says on Aug 24, 2008, 14:26: There have been a ton of stories in the past on CNN and other stations highlighting for instance "stay at home moms" being able to work from home. Most of the jobs that I know about are sales or customer service type jobs. There is A LOT of junk out there as well that appear to be scams. I'm going to seriously look into it later in the year and I will post up my findings on PBH.
