why I like costeños....

Ok just a little personal story. I was out last night with a guy who's originally from the Honduras, and he's absolutely gorgeous, in really good shape, you can tell he works out and is really active...blah blah blah...a total cutie. BUT I'm probably almost a head taller than him and I was wearing flats. Trying to dance with this guy (he couldn't really dance to begin but that was another challenge) was hilarious!! Later in the evening, we were walking home and stopped for a slice to soak up some of the booze, there were a bunch of Mexican men in the pizza place and they started talking to this guy in Spanish... (I was killing myself laughing) "WOW man, you have such a big girl, look at how tall she is, she's so huge". Ok, I have a very large frame for a female, AND I'm tall but I'm sure standing beside this little short guy totally amplified the difference. IT WAS HILARIOUS!!! I was pissing myself laughing.

So...can you figure out why I like Costeños yet? hehehe. I don't feel like I'm in the land of the little people on the coast as long as I don't stand beside the tinto man ;)

Now I'm off to eat my left over pizza and soak up the left over alcohol in my system. GOD why do I do this to myself? ;) Have a grooooovy day!

PCL, that is sooooo true. My girlfriend asked me to take salsa lesson in L.A with her and shit the Mexican mainly could not get it. It was one of the funniest things I saw, on the down side many couples fought because they could not get it together and dance well. In the end from the 45 couples that started only 12 remained. Mexican could not get it...it was like they were dancing ranchera/texana music instead of salsa.

like with any group, it totally depends on the particular person. In general, I tend to like them, but there are always a few bad apples in every bunch, no?

The flip side is when it comes down to business. In the pat month, everything I had on the go fell apart. I was supposed to have a job - they strung me along for months before saying I'm not needed until next semester.

I sold a guy a couple of computers and every time I saw him he was going to pay me the next day. He told another neighbour that he's waiting for me to drop the price. I might have if he had just said, "No, deal, too expensive."

A professor friend wants me to help him start a school on his finca but he isn't sure, maybe he wants to travel to Europe first.

Anyway they make great friends, fun to party with but it reminds me of what I said when I drove cab in Canada,"I don't pick up visible minorities in my taxi and I don't party with white people."
