what annoys me is how they're awarding franchises in colombia.

i applied for a Cinnabon and they said 'anywhere in SA except Colombia.'

So last month, at the biggest mall in Colombia, Santa Fe, a Cinnabon opens. There is such a line at this place all the time that pedestrian traffic is blocked in the mall.

A year ago they were adamantly opposed to any Cinnabons in colombia and now they have them. I dunno.

It's cheap too GL. Thus it's a favorite place for drunken college kids to go to at 2 am (as I did when I was in college). Plus the clientele is interesteing at 2 AM. Part of the White Castle charm!

That isn't saying much. Last time I had Burgur King, about 2 years ago, I puked and fell ill. Coincidence? I doubt it. I haven't eaten a meal at McDonalds for about a decade, I'd probably just vomit if I tried it anyway.

Never having been to white castle, I will refrain from insulting it, but I doubt it beats Colombian fast food, which while unhealthy, at least occasionally tastes good, unlike north american stuff.

I think Burger Chef was the first fast food restaurant to come up with a kids meal. They called it a "Fun Meal" and it always came with a toy. You could also dress your own burgers at a counter. I believe they were bought out by Hardee's. If not, a lot of the old Burger Chef properties were sold to Hardees.

Subway is the best fast food, not always the healthiest -- their steak subs are pretty healthy, the meatball marinara not so much. ;)

Wendy's chili is reasonably nutritious. I like McDonald's side salads and their Sesame Thai dressing. I don't eat French fries much at all, but McDonald's ones are pretty tasty. Harvey's is my favourite fast food place for burgers, but El Corral is much better.
