Cheers

After much shopping around we just bought a Samsung fridge, washing machine and microwave. Got a good price and got an iron and a couple of other things thrown in for free. On the western side of the Autopista heading south on the corner. Probably between Calle 134 and 150, sorry for the vagueness. Cant remember the exact address. I believe there is a kids toy store on the other corner. There is a quite large electical appliance shop. If you buy things together, haggle for the best deal. And pay cash. Not sure if youll get any warranty in San Andresito. If youre not worried about that go there. Just shop around and watch out for gringo prices.

Carrefour has one of the bigger selections for electronics and home stuff.

in san andresito is posible that you dont have guarantee, maybe is more cheap but sometimes the people is no honest with the things that their sell.. is better to buy in carrefour or ALKOSTO this is more cheap and you can see all marks..

I agree with adriana ...you have to be very careful shopping at the san andresitos a lot of the stuff they sell there is black market or pirate products especially liqours.....I have never really found a good bargain there.....on a good sale you can pick things up at exito much cheaper and at least you know your getting some kind of quality

listo

Bunyipcatcher I think where you bought the things for your apartment was in Home Sentry, good, and the prices are similar to different stores, Carrefour is good, Exito (You can Buy through www.virtualexito.com), and Alkosto. All of them close to Cedritos.
