aztec says on Jul 25, 2006, 06:46: Good recommendations. The best is to be invited into the homes of Colombians who will prepare the dish(soup?). I have discovered that each is a different but pleasent experience. Also, each household seems to pride themselves as having the better Ajiaco.

william_andrew_channell says on Jul 27, 2006, 07:26: Cazuelas de la Abuela The best in Bogota is definitely in Cazuelas de la Abuela on Cll 59 just above K 13. Rumor has it that the place is some kind of money laundering front because everything is delicious, the portions are huge and it's really cheap. Also try their Mondongo, meats and fish. But be prepared to wait a while to get a table. If the doors are open, you can bet it will be full.
